I’ve been collecting vintage costume jewelry donations from friends and family and creating these whimsical jewelry portraits. I’m most interested in quirky costume vintage jewelry for its nostalgic feel. Receiving these collections makes me think about how we assign value and meaning to our objects. What happens to the collection when we outgrow it, give it away, or when we die?
