Hides

Hides grew out of the first series of acrylic skins. After making tiny rolled pieces, I had a desire to make larger skins that remained intact. Acrylic paint is poured onto a flat plastic surface. When thoroughly dry, the skin peels off. Different textures have been added to the Hides using cheesecloth and recycled mesh fruit bags.
