Lauren Braun creates imaginary worlds, cityscapes, and interiors through drawing, painting, and collage. Her Rust Belt series of drawings and collages are abstract cityscapes that take inspiration from memories of growing up in Buffalo, NY. She received an MFA from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and a BFA cum laude in art photography from Syracuse University. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Northeast, and is held in both private and corporate collections.
Her studio is located in Pittsburgh's former Mine Safety Appliance building known as the Mine Factory.
